General Provisions

The show is organised according to the reglements of the FCI and SKJ and the regulations issued by the organizer. Only dogs registered with the stud books recognised by the FCI can enter the show.

Every entry form must include a clearly readable copy of dog‘s pedigree. Any other documents (puppy cards, matrika and other matrika documents, no photos!!!) are accepted only for Minor Puppy and Puppy classes. After obtaining the pedigree it is necessary to send it to organiser of the show  and ask for replacement before entering into Junior or other adult classes.In case of a wrong class on the entry form, the dog will be automatically entered in the correct class according to his age, any dog older than 15 months will in this case be entered in the open class. Applications lacking any necessary document (a copy of the International working certificate for the working class, a copy of the Championship certificate for the champion class (only ICH or CH title is valid, do not upload Junior CH titles please) and a copy of a title awarding for the honorary class) will be automatically entered into the open class without notifying owners. Documents received after the last entry closure will not be accepted. 

It is not possible to enter a dog on the day of the show! It is not possible to change the class on the day of the show! 

The organiser may refuse to accept the application without stating the reason.

If the show will not be held for the unforeseen cases, the exhibition fees will be used to cover the expenses. The organiser cannot be held responsible for damages caused by/to a dog. The owner is responsible for any damages caused by the dog. Exhibitors of the Slovak national breeds pay only 50% of the entry fee (except final competitions). 

Owners of the dogs awarded with the BOB title are obliged to take part in the final competitions, otherwise they cannot claim the BOB prize.

A judge is obliged to disqualify aggressive dogs. Provoking dogs against each other is not allowed. It is forbidden to prepare a dog with any substance that will alter the structure, colour or form of the coat, skin or nose. Only trimming, clipping, combing and brushing are allowed. Double handling from outside of the ring is forbidden. It is strictly forbidden to leave dogs tied up on trimming tables except the time they are being prepared for the show (trimmed, brushed or combed). Violation of these rules will result in disqualifying the dog from the competition.

Selling puppies at the exhibition grounds is strictly forbidden!

The exhibitors are responsible for safeguarding and the welfare of the dogs at dog shows. It is forbidden to put the dog in a situation that can be dangerous for its health and welfare, such as leaving it in the car in hot or cold weather and/or treating it in a cruel manner. Violation of these rules will result in exclusion from the ongoing and future dog shows.

The judges are judging the dogs according to the valid standards issued by the FCI. The judge is allowed to refuse to judge a dog that is late for his class. The judge is obliged to refuse to judge a dog, whose owner is not able to provide the dog´s pedigree when asked by the ring steward.

Attention, dear exhibitors! 

The critiques and the catalogue numbers are in the respective rings. Please check the catalogue for any mistakes concerning the class or sex of your dog. If the dog is in a wrong class, ask for a proper change in the show office. Moving a dog from open class to working or champion class at the show is not possible. Moving a dog from class to class at the show is only possible in case of organizer´s mistake.

The organiser has a right not to allow an exhibitor to take part in a competition (in the breed ring or in the main ring) if not properly wearing a correct and clearly visible catalogue number of the dog being shown!

In case an exhibitor wears a wrong number in the final ring, the results won will not be marked in the list of results and will not be taken into account in the all-year competition of Slovakia Dog Cup. 

Veterinary regulations

Dogs from abroad must have a PET PASSPORT with valid vaccinations.


  • Minor Puppy class correctly inoculated puppies up to 6 months  
  • Puppy class 6-9 months 
  • Junior class 9-18 months 
  • Intermediate class 15-24 months 
  • Open class 15 months and over 
  • Working class 15 months and over (FCI working certificate compulsory) 
  • Champion class 15 months and over (Championship certificate compulsory) 
  • Veteran class 8 years and over 
  • Honorary class from dogs with titles Interchampion, Champion, Club winner (Title certificate compulsory)

Titles and challenge certificates

CAJC SR – Certificate for the Junior Champion title of Slovakia may be awarded to dogs and bitches graded as Excellent 1st in junior class.
CAC SR – Certificate for the Champion of Slovakia may be awarded to dogs and bitches graded Excellent 1st in intermediate, open, working or champion class. 
Reserve CAC – may be awarded to dogs and bitches graded as Excellent 2nd in intermediate, open, working or champion class.
CACIB – the qualifying certificate for the International Championship. Dogs and bitches of the FCI recognized breeds that received a CAC in intermediate, open, working and champion class, compete for the CACIB.
Reserve CACIB – can be awarded to the second best one from those with CAC titles or the res.CAC from the class where the CAC winner has also received the CACIB.
BOJ (Best of Junior in breed) – awarded to best male of female, that was honoured with CAJC title.
BOB – awarded to the best male or female from each breed. Dogs and bitches with CAJC, CACIB and excellent 1 from veteran class compete for this title.
BOS – Best of Opposite Sex Junior.
Best in Group FCI (JUNIOR BIG) – dogs awarded with BOJ title are entering this competition by their respective FCI group, only the first place is chosen.
Best in Group FCI (BIG) – a dog or bitch that was awarded the BOB title enters this competition by its respective FCI group, 3 places are awarded.
Junior Winner of IDS (JUNIOR BIS) – this title will be awarded to the best dog of the 10 group winners, 3 places are awarded.
Winner of IDS (BIS) – this title will be awarded to the best dog of the 10 group winners, 3 places are awarded


The exhibitor can enter a junior handler and their dog to this competition, the dog does not have to be entered to the show. The competition has two age categories, from 9 to 13 years and from 14 to 17 years.
An owner (100% same owners on both dogs) can enter his dog and bitch of the same breed and variety, that have been judged at this show.
A breeder can enter his breeder´s group of at least 3 dogs or bitches of the same breed, color and size, which have been judged at this show. The dogs don´t have to be owned by the breeder, but they must come from the same kennel from at least two different litters, at least two different sires and dams. A dog / bitch can only be entered to one breeder´s group.
Final competition for all dogs of Slovak national breeds: Slovenský čuvač, Slovenský kopov, Slovenský hrubosrstý stavač, Československý vlčiak and Tatranský durič.
Dogs and bitches awarded with „very promising 1“ in the minor puppy class enter this competition.
Competition for male and female puppies, all those awarded with „very promising 1“ in the puppy class.
Dogs and bitches awarded with „excellent 1“ in veteran class enter this competition.
Dogs and bitches awarded with „excellent 1“ in honour class enter this competition.
Dogs awarded with BOJ title are entering this competition by their respective FCI group.
All BOB winners enter this competition by their respective FCI groups.

Champion certificates

You can apply for the Slovak Beauty Championship Diploma at the showgrounds and it will be issued immediately. You need to fill in the application form and submit all originals of the critiques, a copy of pedigree and other certificates required by the respective championship rules.

CAC/CAJC titles gained till 31. December 2017 must be submit to the application form for champion certificate with original CAC card and original of the report.

The payment for all types of Champion certificates issued on the show ground is 25€ !


The prizes for the titles Very promissing 1, CAJC, CAC, CACIB, BOS will be handed out in the booth with „Prizes“ and the critique and the pedigree of the dog is required in order to receive the prize. The winners of final competitions receive their prizes in the final ring. The BOB winners receive a BOB card in the ring along with other documentation, and this card is required for receiving the BOB prize in the final ring in the respective Best in group competition. 

Exhibitors that do not take part in the final competitions do not have the right to receive the prizes. 

All prizes must be taken on that show day on which they were awarded. Receiving the price on any other day or sending with mail is not possible.


You can view the statistics by class after logging in into the online system. The entry confirmation will be available after logging in into the online system app. 5 days before the show. The map of rings and the show grounds will also be available 5 days before the show at the show website. Attached to the entry confirmation will be the catalogue numbers of your dog(s), which can be found on the following page of the entry confirmation. It is needed to print them out and bring them with you to the show as they will not be handed out at the show. With these numbers you will enter the ring, eventually the main ring also. It is not valid to just show the entry confirmation in your mobile application, they are only valid if printed out.

Please pay the entry fees only after you register online. Do not forget to mention the variable symbol in your payment information. 

If you are entering more than one show day and you receive 2 confirmation e-mails with 2 variable symbols, it is enough to sum up the entry fees from the two e-mails and send the entry fees in one payment transfer with only one variable symbol.

Lower entry fees for the second and other dogs can only be accepted if the name of the owner is absolutely the same as on the 1st entry form.

Dogs entered into minor puppy, puppy, veteran and honorary classes cannot be considered as first entered dog. Every exhibitor must mark his exact name and address on the payment confirmation for the organiser to be able to identify the payment.

If you require an entry cancellation it is only possible to do so until the 2nd closing date, even if it would be prolonged. CANCELATION HERE. Copy of the pedigree is obligatory with any such request.
In case of a cancellation registration or refunding the fees for whatever the reason, the cancellation fee is 10 €.

The entry fees for the not accepted entries will be returned to the account from which they came from within 30 days of the show end. It is not required to send a request. 

In case of moving a dog to junior, honor or veteran class after originally paying a higher fee, the overpayment is not going to be returned. 

Online statistics by classes find you after entering in the online system:

You will find all the needed payment data (bank account, amount to pay and a variable symbol) with your sent entry form in the online system. The closing date is also the deadline to pay the entry fee within the given closing date. 

It is compulsory to pay the entry fee within 24 hours after submitting the entry. Unpaid entries are automatically cancelled after 7 days without prior notice. The entry fees that would not be on the account latest on the closing date would be considered unpaid. Each exhibitor must state the variable symbol. For foreign payments, state the variable symbol in the information column. It is not needed to send a copy of payment, the payment is identified by the variable symbol only.  

If you are entering a puppy in the minor puppy or puppy class and would like to use the ENTRY FEE GIFT VOUCHER (is only for ONE show), you must mark it in online system. Original (NOT COPY!!) of the ENTRY FEE GIFT VOUCHER with write into Variabile symbol, send to the organiser adress: SKJ-MVP, Furmanska 9, SK-84103 Bratislava).

In case you are entering the dog for two or three days or you are entering more dogs, the entry fee must be paid within 24 hours of entering.   

It is not required to send a payment confirmation. The payment will be identified by a variable symbol. 

By submitting the entry of his/her dog the exhibitor is obliged to abide by the SKJ/FCI show regulations and Slovak veterinary rules. The exhibitor is giving his/ her permission to publish his/her adress in the exhibition catalog and on the website of the organizer. He/she also agrees with publishing pictures, results and critiques of his/her dog as much as needed by the organizer, the SKJ or partners of the show. The entry of a dog is financially binding.
